Memorial Grouper Tournament

1. All entries must be registered in advance

2. Captains meeting: 6:30 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Cape Haze Marina Cabana

3. Cash Prizes will be awarded for the biggest catch (weight of best 3 fish) 1st, 2nd, 3rd places
Grouper trophy for angler who catches largest grouper (by weight)
Perpetual trophy will list year and angler name
Value of prizes will be determined by the number of boat entries and sponsorship donations. Donations/entries are also funding scholarships to the John and Caroline Breuggeman Scholarship fund which awards scholarships annually to college bound students at Lemon Bay High School, Englewood

All anglers will be entered into a drawing and are eligible for additional prizes !! Anglers must be present to claim drawing prizes...

4. All fishing is to be accomplished by traditional fishing methods IFGA rules, with rods, reels, lines and hooks. NO spearfishing
Anglers are encouraged to observe current Reef Fish Gear Rules

5. Fishing, honor lines in, begins at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2012

6. Official Weigh In is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cape Haze Marina

Legal size catch only is acceptable and
ONLY RED GROUPER will be allowed for weigh in
All judge determinations are final

9. Provision for unsafe fishing weather: captains will make decision for safe fishing at the Captain’s Meeting. Should fishing be cancelled, a “Lucky Bucket” drawing will take place for all prizes: cash, trophy and angler prizes, at the Celebration Barbeque.

8. Celebration Barbeque begins at 4:00 pm

9. Prizes, including cash awards, trophy, and angler prizes will be awarded at 5:00 pm at the pool area then ..... RAFFLE drawings
